Halliburton is totally republican.Hell,Dick Cheny was their CEO.If you dont know what the hell youre talking about please shut the hell up.The only thing Halliburton ever did and is still doing is line their pockets with tax payers money.Theyre supposed to be rebuilding Iraq.Everything theyve built so far is falling apart already.Anyone ever wonder how much of a kick back bush and cheny are getting put in their off shore bank accounts

You are a Liberal with an agenda.
Halliburtons no bid contracts are normal and natural in the military world. The bidding system takes a year or more to complete and is used for those expenses that are planned. If you want someone to come in and provide supply lines consisting of thousands of trucks and thousands of food workers and truckers and pipe layers and teachers and ... the list is hundreds of pages long. If you want this done in the next 30 days you don't put out a no bid contract. You ask the companies who can do it if they will. What Halliburton did can only be done by Halliburton and one other company who is partly owned by Hallibruton.
So aside from your idiotic lie, to answer your question, Hallibruton provided millions of Iraqis with commercial and social services they would never have had otherwise. America benefits by not being viewed as a conqueror but as a country trying to help Iraq achieve independence.

Halliburton is one of the only American companies that can guarantee it can complete huge oversees projects. They have the money, resources and people to get jobs done and they also have the backing if something does not go as planned.
Most smaller companies would get into trouble quickly on the scale of projects that Halliburton completes.
Every President and party knows this and that is why they use them so much! Bill Clinton used them to no end and the Democrats never blinked an eye!
