17 miles, but Sweetie and I are entering serious discussions about walking the Appalachan Trail. That's a bit of a jaunt.

I regularly walk 5-10 miles, and fairly often up to 15, but the longest distance was back in undergrad, when one night I couldn't sleep, so went walking randomly, and after 16 miles realized I was closer to my family's home than school, so decided to go crash there.
...then I remembered I'd left my alarm-clock-from-hell set to go off, back at the dorm, so turned around and walked back.
32 miles. Sore feet. But no sore dorm-mates. :P

I once walked close to 28 miles in one day. UGH. A horrible hitchhiking experience gone wrong.

One weekend last year, you-know-who threw me out of the house.
At 3 a.m.
I was so thoroughly pissed that I just started walking.
26 miles in eight hours.
Among the many reasons I don't plan on going back.

I used to walk to and from school everyday. Not sure how far it was but I didn't really care. I was young back then and could do it.
