Are you still going to watch now? It's not going to be as familiar. I think they should get rid of the show if he's leaving. What about the Barker Beauties? Theyre already named after him.

I never watched it to begin with. But I suspect Bob Barker may actually be a robot.

I will give the new host a chance. I think he deserves a chance to build a following as well. I wonder who it is. America gave Bob that very same chance and look what happened. As far as the models, I think they should be still called the Barker Beauties. There's no need to change that, although CBS probably will. I mean the studio is already named after him.

I honestly think that if they do try and replace Bob Barker than the show is going to flop. I agree they should just stop making new ones. They should just show reruns. I thought it would have been cool if they started showing the reruns starting from when it first aired. I thought that would be so neat to have seen him 35 years ago....so young:) The Price is Right will never be the same without dear old Bob!!!!!

I think it would be a good idea to end the show. I don't think I've ever seen a gameshow do very well when the host is changed. From what I've seen, a gameshow is usually cancelled within a season or two after the host has changed, or atleast the ratings drop. Besides, I can't really think of anyone who would do a good job taking Bob Barker's place. That's his show. He made it what it is today.

TV is odd.The Price Is Right is Bob Barker's vehicle just as The Family Feud was Richard Dawson's vehicle.
Without Richard the show tanked.

Well he deserves to rest and enjoy his money, but the show will not be the same and it'll probably fail. And the Barker Beauties should keep the name regardless of who hosts.

pretty sure they'll stay the barker beauties. I think people will still watch it b/c its such a popular game show, the only way ratings will go down if the new host changes stuff...they just need to keep it the same, too much change and it'll go down the crapper

It will be different, but the bottom line is it is a great old school type of game show. I will give the new host a chance. I am sure they will call the models just the Price is Right models or something along those lines.

I never really watched it all that much. However, unless he gets royalties from the new series, I think they should retire it.
There was no Jackie Gleason Show without Jackie.
No Ed Sullivan Show without Ed.
Some things should just be retired along with the host.

they will need to revamp the show a little, but it wont devaite from the standard..
