I've seen cakes made from bath towels and angels made from dish towels like these http://www.superweddings.com/towelcake.htm
http://www.geocities.com/cindi_lou_who1/KitchenAngel.html
Does anyone know of sites with other types of "towel" crafts?

There is a book out called The Lost Art of Towel Origami, that you might be interested in. You should also do a search for 'towel origami', several sites came up with free instructions.

Heres one i did a few years ago. Make a real life fruit machine. on a table top build a slot machine front, with 3 holes covered in fabric which allows a hand to go through. and a pull lever Behind the table have 3 people with an assortment of the same fruit and have a ball making slot machine noises as a child puts coin in to operate it. as the 'spin' comes to an end, the 3 hands poke through the holes holding a fruit, at random, devise a payout table etc for wins, obviously 'wins' have to be made but can be the fruit on the win line . use your imagination to adapt as needed. Dont do what we did tho and eat the fruit, one, youll be sick and two youll run out of combinations. Any money collected can be donated to the school. See if you can get the fruit stalls at the local markets and supermarkets to donate fresh fruit. Hope you have a good time, the kids will love it.

Here is the craft section:

The best thing about this new Web site is that you can find AND create lists about anything and everything!
