Yea, I would take that. Delmon Young had 2 HR's either last night or 2 nights ago, and is better then Byrnes, and will produce more then him too. Byrnes is usually a Fantasy Baseball Bench Player. David Ortiz for Miguel Cabrera, that is a no brainer. Ortiz has superior Power to Cabrera and will knock in more runs too especially with the Red Sox being as Hot as they are. It seems like there is almost always a man on 2nd when he gets up. Then he has Manny behind him to drive him in. Only thing Cabrera has on him is a few more AVG points. This is an awesome trade for you. Bite on it before it's too late.

Depends on the rest of your roster but in terms of getting the better fantasy numbers then this is a great deal for you. Byrnes is an average fantasy player who has peaked professionally so what you've already seen is as good as it gets. Young has monster potential and has put up better numbers than Byrnes and should improve as he becomes more familar with the pitchers and how they will pitch him. If you are good at 3rd then Cabrera for Ortiz is very good, ortiz will post better numbers but cabrera does play a weak fantasy position. If you already have a very good 1st baseman and no good backup 3rd sacker this trade could bite you though so make sure it makes good roster sense but in terms of pure numbers you are easily getting the better of this deal.

In terms of straight productivity, I would do that trade. Miguel Cabrera is a stud at 3rd base but that is a deep position this season. Ortiz is pretty much unrivaled at what he does with the fact that he blasts 45+ homeruns easy with 120+ rbi's. Byrnes is having a great season right now but he's a streaky player that tends to fade out as the season wears on. Not to mention the kamikaze style that he plays increases his chances of missing games.

If you can cover losing some of Byrnes steals, you won't be losing much but gaining a whole lot of power numbers.

No brainer here, take the trade and laugh all the way. Ortiz is being moved around this year because his numbers are down, this will not last long. Young this is a talent here playing on a team where he will get all the at bats he wants. Giving up either of the players you are giving up will not hurt too much. I say pull the trigger!

I know Delmon just had a two homer game, but I would keep Byrnes and Cabrera. I think they will be a better combo then what you are getting in return.
