religion itself and intolerance

I'll give you a hint. Religious terrorism is an oxymoron, like social security and military intelligence. All those are good words, but they don't go together.

Religions tell you how to live at peace with the world. Terrorism involves greed and a desire for control of the world. Religion says show your fellow man how to live by your actions. Terrorism says subjugate your fellow man to do your bidding.

I think some people get a little to desperate to put the great mysteries of existence in a little box that they can look at and feel in control. So when someone like me comes along and just feels that things are going to be okay if we give it a chance and then they overreact because some one seems to be going against everything that they have held sacred and feel justified to kill me. Why stop there, why not mess with everything that they think I represent, Starbucks, Krispey Kreme, (the filled kind are great), maybe a Nation's Burger and later and a movie. (Satan would be proud). Gee, I don't want to infect the rest of the world with my evil ways so blow it all up already with your Jihad self and 3 Virgins at the bus stop, or whatever some smooth talker convinced you to do. How easily manipulated are some people , anyway?

Their beliefs. If a religious book tells them that they will go to their idea of heaven by killing Jews, and Christians, their moral values include killing Jews, and Christians. If their religious book tells them to make an agreement with other people in order to penetrate, then take over in order to kill Jews,Christians, and unbelievers of their faith, is another way they inflict terror. It's to bad that people do not understand that a religion will cause people to kill others, which includes them.

religion is not a root cause of anything.

all war and terrorism is about control of resources, religion is something that is used to encourage, fortify, calm, pacify

religion is a TOOL used to control, it is not the cause of anything

what is really being fought over is control of oil, land, water, access to ports, mines, labor

The root cause is the opposite, no religion on the face of earth preaches terrorism, it is the handiwork of Satan. No body is following / practicing his religion correctly.
IGNORANCE OF RELIGION IS NO EXCUSE.

People using their religion to further their own greed. It's not the fault of religion. People twist that to justify their own desires.

It certainly has nothing to do with religion. It's about a Nut, picking a platform and going for it...
