Scrubs Season Finale Will they or wont they?

So the season finale of Scrubs had JD and Elliot cosy on a cot at the hospital talking about their tendency to sabotage themselves when they have good things going in their lives. As if to display this point, they look into each other's eyes and lean forward as if to kiss. So here's the question.. Are the Scrubs writers just teasing us? When fall rolls around are they going to return to the scene and have them both realize its a mistake and jump apart or will they finish the lean-in, kiss, and potentially ruin their relationships with Kim and Keith? Whatcha think? What would you like to see happen?

Here's next season in a nutshell, as predicted by me in May, 2007...

"The Kiss" will probably get interrupted by Dr. Cox, who will hang the secret over their heads for half the season, while JD and Elliot wrestle with their emotions in their heads. Then, they'll finally realize that they need to stick with their respective hookups, after which Dr. Cox will spill the beans about the near kiss, all hell will break loose for a few episodes, and everyone, after apologies and introspection will kiss and make up. Elliot will get married, but JD won't, which will be the cliffhanger for next season. God, Scrubs is getting SO predictable...

I dont know. That's really been bugging me cuz now I cant wait for the next season! I think the writers sort of wanted that suspense. I think that JD and Elliot are meant to be together, but now it's too late. Elliot already found Keith who likes her more than JD does. I don't want JD to end up with Kim but its probably going to happen.

I think the Scrubs writers wanted to make things interesting for the final moments. Something will interrupt their kiss or they will realize it on their own. Even though I hate Kim and hope that J.D. will break up with her soon, the sexual tension between him and Elliot is what kept Scrubs together. Besides, I like them better as friends.

I really hope that they realize it is a mistake. They had a relationship before and obviously it didn't work out. They have good people in their lives. Eliot needs to stick with Keith. He is a good man for her. JD and Eliot make better friends than lovers. Lets hope they don't ruin their relationships over a sudden moment of weakness.

I was thinking about this last night and I don't think that they will. Well - maybe they might kiss, but that will probably be as far as it goes. I think that the whole JD and Elliot thing is over.

I hope to God that they don't get back together. As soon as they do, this show is "jumping the shark." The tension between the two because they DO sabotage the relationship is part of what makes the show good.

Cases in point: Cheers, Moonlighting, etc. etc.

The only thing I thought about last night as they were lying there was when JD wanted Elliott so bad, stole her away from Shawn, then dumped her because he said that he didn't love her. Then Danni told him that he always wants what he can't have. So this makes me think it's another one of those times.
