It is funny you should ask this. I saw a news story about this same subject and it turns out a guy from India whose last name is Patel came to America a generation ago and bought a motel.
Then he wanted to have a chain of motels, but he wanted the managers to be co-owners so he wouldn't get ripped off so he began bringing family members from India to america to run them. Turns out the relatives he brought followed his example and did the same thing with their inlaws, cousins, ect. And since lower caste members in India can't own property, word got around and more and more of them came here to cash in on the American Dream.

As told to me by Indian acquainces, one reason is that though there are many Indians who have world class wealth they may have relatively little to spend it on.
eg.They may own a Mercedes but the gas pumps do not work.
Public utilities are unreliable etc.
Also, they may be living on "old" family money which is not renewable.
Clearly they have the money to buy businesses & certainly work hard to maintain them & a better standard of living.
They go into businesses that are sustainable beacuse they provide basic services to a generally well off population.
The wide gap between haves & have nots does not leave too many paying customers.
So Hello USA.

I don't see many in Gas stations, but in many Motels. It is the same with Hindus running all the Popeyes and Koreans running small Grocery Stores and Africans running all the KFC's. I don't know I guess the US Government gives them loans

Because the real tribe of the Americas knows the money is in roadside assistance if they are travelers and not those poor settled reserve guard benchwarming footballers. You are not in the Penalty box puppy, just do your homework and Walker Texas Ranger will give you a rune sigil someday. Blessings!

more or less same in Australia, except we have them all driving cabs cluelessly and doing security guarding where they hide if anything is going on....
Any jobs where they can earn decent money outside of school hours,
Over here they are all doing either I.T or accounting.
Even though they are all really bad workers and I have lost my cleaning job of 4 years to indians.
now I have been security guarding and they are all trying to get into that because it pays slightly better although they are giving themselves a really bad name over here due to their bad working habits and tendancy to not give a **** about their jobs.
