Firstly, I will admit unemployment is doing great. That's very true. But you're saying the economy is breaking records? That's because the richest 10% have gotten richer. The buying power of the poor went down which means that the poorest are spending less. But that's counter acted by the richest spending more. So in a way the economy is kind of improving. For the rich elitists. Everyone else is getting poorer. Do you like rich people spending your money?
And as for terrorists, we didn't have any terrorist attacks in other presidencies, doens't mean they're AMAZING PRESIDENTS. And he's failing to stabalize Iraq. Sure we're killing terrorists. But it's not enough. Iraq is slipping and the people there are tired of us in many ways. He didn't win over the people and he's getting our troops killed with his inability to command the country and it's military actions.
I cut him slack in the beginning of his first term. He's let me down ever since.

You are exactly right sir. I am glad that some people in this place thinks like me. You have all the facts straight. These other guys are just saying what the media has to say. Bush is not the best but he is not the worst. There have been about 15 worse than he had ever thought about being. If any of these guys want to put blame on anyone it would have to be Bill Clinton. He was too busy with Miss Monica. When Osama bombed the WTC the first time it was not to kill mass people, it was to test to see if anything would be done. And nothing was. I respect both Bushs for fighting for what they believed was right. I never really liked Clinton and I still don't. thank you for bringing the facts together and showing these Bush Beaters what good he has done.

He hasn't been the best president, hasn't been the worse. I think he's taken a lot of BS criticism. But I'm sure the next President will too. It's the new information age, there's so many slanted news channels, blogs, etc. Where people can display their opinion no matter if it's justrified or completely stupid. So I've pretty much assured myself that every President will be overly criticised from now on. Because even if the President makes the correct decision, there will be a group of people who don't like it.

Thankful for what? We're only capturing and killing terrorists by the truckload because his actions create them by the truck load. And though we haven't been attacked recently I'd like to remind you that nearly SIX YEARS later, Osama Bin Laden is STILL AT LARGE. And maybe the unemployment rate is lower, but the jobs people are getting now aren't enought to keep up with the cost of living in many cities, over-time, and pension benefits are being cut, healthcare is unaccesable to many Americans, the middle class is RAPIDLY disappearing, gas prices are going through the roof, our government is LYING to us and your president is SPYING on us. The constitution has been raped in the butt with a rusty iron bar by the Bush administration, but you want me to be thankful ?!? Are you serious? Since the begining of the Iraq war 3,404 American soldiers have perished NEEDLESSLY. So, forgive me, if I'm not grateful that thousands of families have lost their children over an unneccesary, ill-informed, mis-handled, poorly planned WAR OF CHOICE and that my brother, a married man, and father of 3 little girls is about to be sent over there. Not only could I do a better job, but so could my cat. If that moron couldn't properly operate 2 oil companies, how can we honestly expect him to properly run this country. He needs to be STOPPED! IMPEACH THE BUSH REGIME!!!!

How about no?
"We haven't suffered any more terrorist attacks on US soil, the economy is breaking records, taxes are lower, unemployment is at historic lows, and terrorists are getting killed/captured by the truckload, etc."
I've noticed you didn't include:
Highest level White House official convicted since Iran-Contra (Scooter Libby).
Ruined the reputation of the World Bank (With Paul Wolfowitz).
First Attorney General who has amnesia (Alberto Gonzales saying "I can't recall" about a hundred times).
I'll be thankful when Bush leaves, thank you very much.

I totally agree. Thought I don't agree with everything the president has done, he is only human. And no one person can satisfy everyone. He has definitely been through a lot during his 2 terms. Probably more than a majority of other presidents, and he is dealing with it the best that he can and with good intentions. He is still the president and deserves respect. I know, thumbs down for me, but at least I can take the mature route. God bless America and God bless our troops.

No.
You forget about the anthrax in the mail attacks which the perps have never been caught.
The economy is on sputter mode and when the housing industry hits the toilet anytime, the economy is going with it. Not to mention that Bush has doubled the national debt from $4,000,000,000,000 to $8,000,000,000,000 in less than 6 years. Somebody is going to have to pay the piper sooner or later.
The war in Iraq is a complete mess and is now 10X over budget ($500,000,000,000) and projected to be 20x over budget by the end.
The fed. govt. response to Hurricane Katrina was dismal.
Bush deserves no slack for his terrible policies, both foreign and domestic.

Because he is the President, he is held to a higher standard.
I judge him by the content of his character, his leadership abilities, and the decisions he's made. I have a right to criticize the Government, when such does not respect the will of the people

No No and HELL NO. Ask the families of the troops who were killed. Ask those who's rights have been violated due to his tapping program. This is the worst adminstration i've ever seen in washington, and I hope the new congress keeps giving them hell!
