Why Do Parents To Things To There Children?

I have a friend that has dreams about her mothers boyfriend going to rape her and its all because of her real father.
it disgusts me that parents would do that!
it also makes me very mad! She does not wana go home all be cause of her mothers boyfriend

Have her talk to her mom. If she won't maybe you could talk to her mom and let her know that you are worried about her. Did her mom know about her father while it was going on?

Your friend should be telling her mother. I am a mother and I would hate it if my daughters didn't tell me what they felt. Their father and I divorced so now we are w/ my current husband which is their step-father. They say they love him, but if ever they were afraid of him they can tell me. Tell her that her dad was sick in his head and deserves death if he raped her. Tell her to tell her mom and maybe some counseling alone and her with her mom may get her over this. Tell her that not every man is nasty. Not all of them will hurt her. Tell her to tell her mother what's going on and let someone who loves her and cares about her help her. Her fears are only going to hamper her relationship w/ her mom, her mom's bf and men in general. Good Luck.

Sounds like she needs counseling. Has the mother's boyfriend done anything to her to make her have these dreams? Or is it her father did this to her or put ideas in her head? Tell her to find someone that she trusts to talk to about her situation.

Reality is that there are really sick people in this world. If she is really close to her mom she should talk to her mom. Or maybe her mom will be selfish like my friends and tell her daughter to get over it.
If your friend is that worried she needs to get some pepper spray and have it with her at all times, or go to self defense classes. She will not feel comfortable with most men until she can feel like she has some control.

A lot of parents aren't ready for children - and have them because they become pregnant without realizing the responsibilities of caring for them. Individuals who rape,molest, cause physical and mental abuse aren't well themselves and release their anger on their children. Your friend needs to accept what happened to her before she can move on - she's still insecure and scared - which is normal. It takes times to come to terms with a family member hurting you and diminishing the relationship - She'll find the strength within herself to move on as soon as she accepts, forgives and knows that she's done nothing wrong. . . .

I am sorry for your friend. Alot of people shouldn't even be parents. Before people go home with their babies they should get psychological test done. Maybe she should talk to her mother about it. I hope everything gets better. :)
