Good question...but I need to gender bend mine cuz I'm so def Hurley *save for the weight :)* We're exactly the same way: always trying to fit in and make everyone happy and at ease at the same time.
But if I'm replacing a female character, I'd have to say Sun. I'd love coming from a powerful and rich family. Plus, she has Jin *which is a mega bonus ^_~*

even though i'm female i would have to say sayid. i don't believe most of the crap that comes out of people's mouths and i am usually a good judge of character. plus if i have to i'll kick some major butt. lol
