i need to get certified and cant find any classes that are free

While some groups offer free informational classes on CPR, no one offers true 'certified' classes for free- it just costs too much to do the actual certification!
The cheapest American Red Cross class is the 'Challenge' class- in which you take the practical and written tests with no other instruction. Locally, that would cost you about $25-30 (but we do not offer challenges often- Reviews are more common!)

Check with the American Red Cross and/or the Heart Association they have schedules of classes
