what size tank do i need to house 3 red bellied piranha?

A 75 would be fine.... if the piranha don't kill each other first. They really need to be kept in a larger group. A group of 6 or more is best.

I agree wiith everyone else. 75 gallons is the minimum for 3 piranahs.
