Whether you agree with Rosie's views or not ,that's what brought "THE VIEW" back to life. First, I don't think a male should get her spot. The show is strictly from a female's point of "View"! That's what it started out as anyway. I think it's unique just from that stand point.

Roseanne use to be funny but I think she's just plain mean today. I happen to catch one of her stand up shows on HBO.Talk about bashing religions etc. She really goes for the throat. She's not the Roseanne of the 1980's As far as Ann Coulter goes- just forget it. She would ruin the show. She's not funny!

I love Marie Osmond as a person. However, I don't think we need another conservative on the show. Between her and Elizabeth they might need to change the name of the show to
"Views of the Stepford Wives" - if you get my drift. These two really are not from the Real World! They couldn't relate to Real Middle Class America if they tried!

We need a light hearted comedienne who is not afraid to touch on very controversial issues. Someone (like Rosie) who speaks their mind but doesn't make it insulting. ( Even though some people take offense due to their blindness and close mindedness of what could be really going on in the world.)
I think Whoopi Goldberg would be an excellent choice!
Kathy Griffin is also a possibility.
How about Ellen Degeneris. I bet she'd be great if she could get out of her present show!
Another choice would be Lily Tomlin!
Here are some others I think would be great---

Jane Curtain
Caroline Rhea
Valerie Harper
Brett Butler
Bette Midler

Definitely another comedienne: someone who can lead the show in discussion but who can keep the atmosphere light and funny when necessary. Bonnie Hunt would be phenomenal: she's witty and can banter with the rest of them, but she'd also be a good moderator and offer some balance to the already tense set.

And I know Barbara Walters doesn't like Kathy Griffin, so she would never sit in on the panel permanently (as it is she is never a guest on a day when Barbara is there), but she would be really good, too.

I would love to see Ann Coulter. She's an intelligent women who definitely knows how to stir the pot. It would be a more balanced show if she were on there. Then they would have 2 left wing hosts and 2 right wing hosts. Plus, I would love to see her go up against Joy Bahar!!

They haven't even replaced Star yet. It'll probably be someone like Whoppie or Roseanne. Whoever it is will probably be not as controversial, and the show will be canceled. If it's boring like it used to be, ratings will go down.

i'm with ignoramus

why not put a ranting michael richards (kramer) to pull the reins on those nags and keep everyone in check in case they get out of line. he obviously can host a show as he had the merv griffin set in his apartment on that one episode.

maybe calvin broaddus can make guest appearances to keep 'em in check as well.

face it, after rosie, can't get any worst as her gestapo tactics have frayed the panel and audience
