I'm expecting that all reply above are from white people. Reading these answer, you makes you realise how native and full of sh it people are.
If madeline wasn't white and middleclass you actually think that this case would even be heard of????
For you naive idiots who maintain that a non white from a lesser background would recieve the same attention, let me ask you a question
Name me a case/incident where a non white child has gone missing??? and tell if it has even recieved 1% of publicity and attention that this case has???
Open Your EYES!!!!

Yea it is a little troubling...but it's not the end of the world. I think that everyone should get the same opportunity to be helped regardless of any social class you fall in. There are plenty of black/hispanic/asian/middle eastern/etc men and women who are missing or have been killed and the media doesn't give a damn. They have the power to say no to talking about that cute little 5 year old who went missing 10 years ago a gazillion times. (exaggeration) But instead they still use racism/sexism/ageism/etc and make white women look helpless and the only ones needing help.

In the UK it is different from the US, However a number of black youngsters were killed recentley, The mother of one of these children is involved with a campaign to stop gun crime.
For all the people involved in these campaigns it is a matter of trying to stop that stuff happening again.
In the UK people care, the media however do not. Perhaps some of the media have this MWWS thing for sure, but not the people in the UK they actually do care.

No there is no relation to (MWWS). The media coverage has been high because her parents have talked to the media regularly and set up funds, websites etc. to create exposure. Those cases on the website are all from the U.S.A - completely different type of media in Europe to U.S.

How sad for you that this is about the media coverage and not about a little girl who was taken! How sad that compassion for another human being isn't being felt by everyone! Say a prayer for the little girl! Being white should have no bearing on anything! Maybe you're jealous of white skin!? Try to help yourself by thinking about positive ways you can contribute to society as a whole. Hopefully, they will catch the SOB that took little Madeline and hopefully she will be unharmed. We can only hope and pray! For anyone out there that thinks it's a white issue, well, you are the people that make it that way...

That section was dealing primarily with the USA, so no as this is not in the USA it isn't MWWS. If the child was Asian, African or any other race, I'm sure there would be just as much coverage.

Of course it is. Over 5,000 children under the age of five die every day of needless starvation.
Contrast and compare.

I'm a white woman, and yes...as much as many hate to admit it ... it does exist. I find it odd, at this day and age, that such a thing would exist ... mind you, a lot of things in today's world baffles me ... sad. :(
