Do you think it's possible that Jimi Hendrix was a prophet?

Depends on which context you mean by "prophet".
There are those who say a prophet speaks for God and there are those who say a prophet is blessed by God with unique gifts.
As for my point of view, Hendrix certainly heralded a new way to play guitar and he was definitely gifted.

There's a scene in a movie about him where the Black Panthers want to recruit him agains the whites. He refuses. I will always respect him for being a uniter and not a divider because of that. And he brought us some fantastic music too. I have several posters, etc., of Jimi around my place.

I don't think a prophet would be getting stoned. That's just my opinion.
