They should say, "Yeah, I like this n that, etc."
But people aren't objective, and don't normally answer questions correctly.
They could say, "Yeah, I like sugary drinks and cookies and other stuff, but I generally don't eat them--they are harmful to the body and I'm healthier without them."
When people give their advice, they are thinking about what people SHOULD do, but initially, they should be mindful of the greater good, which is keeping the peace, and responding with a straight answer, so the asker obtains what he/she wanted.

Isn't there another catergory for them, like "Being a Bore". This is P&S. It doesn't matter what food or drink you like. I like strawberry, you like chocolate. Good on you. What a boring world if we all have to have to give the same politically correct answer to every question asked.

sarcastically, my buddy and that i've got been in basic terms speaking approximately this 2 days in the past. Nope on no account! do no longer hear to the people asserting that inquiring for nutrition is rude, they are incorrect! you does no longer could desire to ask if she supplied in the 1st place, actual? Your buddy is rude and occasional-fee besides. How stressful is it to even supply a tumbler of water. Like come on, are you fairly that low-fee? i advance into raised to be a gracious hostess and to be beneficiant with nutrition esp with travellers. in basic terms via fact you come over in the past and/or after mealtimes would not propose you do no longer supply something. Your buddy seems no longer basically low-fee, yet rude via fact she sighs and such. I had an analogous subject with a buddy of mine. Regardless if that's a time for dinner or no longer, I continuously supply nutrition and beverages the minute my acquaintances step into the door. this is in basic terms the well mannered factor to do. My subject wasn't as undesirable as yours, yet nevertheless rude. Your buddy as a hostess ought to a minimum of supply water the minute somebody enters your place. yet my buddy refused to accomplish that. i could be at her homestead, and basically till an hour and a 0.5, she'd supply water! Then, if we've been going to consume something, it could be yet another a million-2 hours in the past ingesting. So i could wait 2.5-3.5 hours in the past i could consume there. easily, you should give up going over. that's what i could have completed. i could have stopped going over there a protracted time in the past. nutrition isn't each little thing, yet refusing to offer something in basic terms shows which you're low-fee. surprisingly in case you supply an abundance of nutrition in return. whilst my acquaintances comes over, I continuously have particularly some nutrition, even too plenty. So I form of assume an analogous in return via fact we are supposedly close acquaintances. Your buddy no offense has no manners in any respect. If she would be low-fee, she should not be having travellers over in the 1st place. Worst section is, she would not even are responsive to it. you're no longer being rude, and if I have been you, i could commence declining her grants.

I'm not quite sure why people do that - other then to boast about the fact that they feel they take great care of themselves. . . and everyone else should too - Although, it's really none of their business what other people eat. More power to them and they should keep it to themselves.

Thats just annoying. Do they think you don't realise what food is bad for you?
It is up to you if you want to eat stuff that is bad for you. You don't need a lecture about it.

Of course they do feel that their answer is relevant, thats why they said it, but it might not be relevant to you, I don't like nutritionists myself.
