I suspect a fragmentation to occur. The general movement will become more and more moderate with the fringes more radical. I suspect a healing to take place, as a proper balance is reached between men and women and tensions are alleved.

That's what I see happening right now. Perhaps in fifty years, full equality will have been achieved and there will no longer be any need for a women's movement.

I can't say I could definitely see women's movement in general in 50 years since I don't follow it too closely. Yet, I do wish it would go this direction: feminists should try to promote the differences between men and women, and the stregnths and weakness of each sex. Men and women are different. That is why we have different sexes.

Men would tend to succeed better at certain jobs and women would tend ot suceed better at different jobs. Most definitely, men and women must be given fair chance to succeed at any jobs and activities, but blindly applying quota to everything is not going to help anybody.

Just my two cents.

I would imagine it will be less prominent than it is today.

@Daniel Lee:
Your website: http://www.vday.org/
is a crock of ****.
It's all about stopping violence against women and girls.
It belittles and ignores violence against men and boys simply because of their sex.

"Until we stop looking at this issue through gender specific-glasses, we will never solve it."

the future of feminism is going to grow in the world's most impoverished countries. they have a lot of progress to make, and it's starting to happen now. many of these places do not give women the same freedoms that we all have in the united states.

AMERICA! F*** YEAH! CUZ FREEDOM IS THE ONLY WAY, YEAH!
