Well, I guess you'll accuse me of being caught up in my own little American world... **sigh** but here goes: I've no idea who Gordon Brown is (well, aside from being the next UK prime minister, as per your question), so I guess I have no particular feelings about him.

Maybe add some details about his views or, better yet, maybe I'll check him out on the net and come back and give you some good "meaty" personal feelings on the man.

Gordon Brown would be the worst ingredient which will ever take place to this usa. Unfortunatley, he's (would be, possibly!) entering workplace on the returned of a extremely chrisamatic PM who the customary public has lost finished faith in and on the information that he's completely to blame for the pension disaster. He has no mojo! No volume of media education, amazing spouse and 2 little ones will chage that. The Scots discover him boastful and has has no longer something yet contmept for them. i discover him domineering, obsessive and ever so particularly frightening. if he gets the job, I provide him 18mths and im being type!

The important thing is Blair is gone.
I an glad Blair had the stupidity and audacity to stand next to President 25% and stand in solidarity with him, the guy who doomed his career and legacy. They deserve each other.

Brown is a fairly bad choice, as he supports the Iraq War and policy that got Blair removed.

But I think, like Nixon, Blair was careful to appoint someone he can trust to not pursue him criminally or disgrace him any further.

The Labor Party better change their tune first chance they get....

Gordon Brown is labor - that is good
Gordon Brown is not T. Blair - that is good
Gordon Brown is not obligated to follow Blair foreign policy- that is good
Gordon Brown may have learned that T. Blair support for Bush is bad for the U.K - that is also good.

I am not familiar with Gordon Brown. I love the English, and hope they have made the right decision. Good luck.

Other than seen his picture in the paper, don't know anything about his back ground. However, were close as two countries can get, we'll find out about him soon enough.
