3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Magnesium...

Involved in more than 325 biochemical reactions, some of the early symptoms of magnesium deficiency include body aches, chronic constipation, headaches and migraines, insulin resistance, PMS, leg cramps, muscle twitches, and more. Left untreated, a magnesium deficiency can lead to more life-threatening conditions such as heart disease, HYPERTENSION (high blood pressure), stroke, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and others.

Also carnitine --
* N-acetyl-L-carnitine helps transport fatty acids into cells to produce energy in the cells and can cross the blood-brain barrier to help preserve neurological function.
* L-carnitine-tartrate is often used in sports nutrition to raise energy, endurance, and stamina in the muscles and heart.

Nothing. Modifying diet to include fresh fruits and vegetables. Decreasing the amount of common salt and other sodium salts in food and increasing the amount of potassium, which offsets the affect of sodium, also helps. Potassium is found in bananas. Stick with a healthy diet, exercise, and any meds your doctor gives you. Herbs cannot be trusted to do what their manufacturer says it will do. They are not monitored or endorsed by the FDA and can actually be dangerous for you.
