What do I want in a partner to share my life ... or in general?
To share my life with I would like a man who loves God, kids, and Me (last but not least). He's got to be financially stable avoiding downfalls like excessive alcohal, drugs, gambling, porno, sex addictions / objectification, and not be overly greedy. To make him super sweet in my eyes, it would be great if he had a deep strong baritone singing voice (& not afraid to use it) ... be taller than I ... and enjoy healthy foods & life style.
In general this sums up what men in general can do to be more peaceful:
"Here's my Credo: All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but there in the sandpile at Sunday School. These are the things I learned:
Share everything.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don't take things that aren't yours.
Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life--learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.
Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.
Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup--they all die. So do we.
And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned--the biggest word of all--LOOK.
Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living. Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or your government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm.
Think what a better world it would be if we all--the whole world--had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap. Or if all governments had as a basic policy to always put things back where they found them and to clean up their own mess.
And it is still true, no matter how old you are--when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together. "

i elect women folk by using their resistance to extremism. If she's balanced in all issues like my mom and father, she's eye-catching. If she's bodily in a position sufficient to hold a 30 to 50 lb backpack and probable stay on the Appalachian path interior the winter for 3 days with me, she's quite eye-catching. A greater or less equipped lady who isn't interested in extremism in any admire is eye-catching. i admire stability and quietness. If she desires it to be a different journey daily, or pay lack to emotion, or something under gentle stability, then she's no longer eye-catching. needless to say, i'm unsure if there are the different men like me, so which you're getting a different description of an acceptable lady right here. actual wellness is paramount. Hmm. I purely examine the different solutions on right here. i assume i'm the a million out of 10 or greater form of guy. desire the define is a help.

I love the macho types just as much as the sensitive types. But violence is one thing I won't tolerate. The majority of crime is committed by men. What ever happened to that wonder drug that could possibly remove the rage gene? lol
In all honesty, men need to learn how to listen. Not just nod their heads in agreement all the time, to save them from a possible arguement. It's all about the respect. I heard somewhere that a man stated: "Because of feminism today, there is no room for romance anymore." I have to agree with this. Nothing beats the old fashioned 'gentleman' type.
To all the feminists out there who may protest that statement, hey, just because he's being kind doesn't mean he's trying to be any better than you.

There is already quite a lot of understanding between men and women - most of it between colleagues, relations of all ages - neighbors and friends. Unfortunately there is the least understanding about young unmarried women and what their function should be in society.
It would be a nice change if men didn't expect so much from women for a start! And as for peace? Men should achieve that first.

imstillsandy: "If you do not like who we are, or if you do not like the way we look, or the way we talk, or the way we dress, please keep this to yourself, and remove yourself from our presence."
LOL. Of course, women will continue to reserve the right to nag men about these same things.
Nice try.
Rio Madeira: "All I want is for men (and conservative women) to promote gender equality and support the life choices women make."
Now see, there's your problem. You live in a world view that says that others owe you support for your life choices. I hate to break this to you, but you alone are responsible for the life choices you make, not some imaginary "support group." Welcome to the world of men.

Ice cream. With sprinkles.
(Sorry, I'm pregnant and craving .... I'd better get to the store)
Seriously? I think the key is respect. If everyone just gives everyone else a little respect, regardless of gender or color or sexuality or age, the world would be a better place.

Stop having wars. Honestly, we as women understand that it's all about penis size anyways. No seriously, I as a woman love men for everything they are, I would like the violence to stop, but men are not the only ones engaging. It truly works on a personal level when it comes to the people I dislike, so keep on being brutes, I think is sexy.
