I would contemplate what I would do. I don't know who it belongs to and I don't want to get into any trouble if I'm caught spending it. I would ask God for what I should do and if I don't get an answer, I would just spend it, but be careful of how....the money could be stolen and could have tracers on it....

I would not know who's it is, and therefore be a little nervous to keep it in the same bag. I would ditch the bag, hide the diamonds and go get a plane ticket to somewhere for a vacation. I would also pay my bills. I would probably invest a good portion of it so it would grow. But I would NEVER, EVER let anybody know that I had it or change my habits, just in case a drug dealer or mean criminal was looking for it. EVER.

I would cool it on the diamonds, put them in safe deposit. The cash would mostly go in there too, and the rest be spent in small amts for quite a while while I looked for any heat.
The diamonds I would wholesale after 2 years, elsewhere.

I probably return the diamonds because they would be hard to fence. I'd keep the money, pay off my credit cards, have some cosmetic surgery, and bank the rest.

diamonds have ID marks on them so you might as well throw them away if you intend to convert your find to personal use. whattya gonna do if its a CIA deal or something and they have recorded the serial #'s on the bills too? You'll be looking over your shoulder the rest of your life. I'd have my attorney anonymously turn it into the cops , they don't advertise they have it and if noone comes looking for it you can legitamately keep it.

My PRECIOUS!!!!
I would look ever so slowly to my left, then ever so slowly to my right- then walk unsuspiciously to my car and drive ever so carefully to my bank. And deposit $7777.00
Then, with the remaining cash I would pay back all my family and friends all the money I owed them, then I'd be broke.
Except for the diamonds, which I would sell to Cartier every so often.
Yeah, that's it!!!

keep the money turn the diamonds in.
they can't trace the money but if you sold the diamonds they could trace them back to you and you would be in trouble.
you should also think if they have marked the money...
turn the stuff in and live with a guilt free consciousness.

A better question would be "what would you do with lottery winnings worth over $150,000" since if you REALLY found dimonds and that much cash, Yahoo Co. would inform on you the instant they found out you posted about it on their website otherwise they would be an excessory to a crime...

Turn it in, it's going to be too hard to fence and isn't worth enough to go through all the hassle or risk( you might up with a 10% reward) I'd ask.
