In my local pub they serve fish in beer batter. Its lovely, do you have a favourite type of batter? ;-)

Fanny Batter has nothing to do with fish and chips, though it is a deliciously enjoyable starter.
Please tell me I'm right, otherwise I have problems

I like the batter they use in battered women. J/k - that was very awful of me to say that and hopefully everyone will take it as a harmless joke.
I like fried fish batter as well. I also like the batter on KFC crispy chicken.

I was gonna say Catfish Hunter is my favorite batter, but wasn't he a catcher?
I love the batter they have on Long John Silver's fish and chicken. I think they sell packages of it, but I have never purchased it. Most of those places are gone now from our area.

Beer batter is great.
Your question reminds me of something a guy said to me once, I was working for a women's shelter charity, calling people for donations, and this guy said "Sure, I'll help, I love battered women, but I can eat them plain too".
