Divide 451 by 795.

451/795 = 56.7% is an F in most schools K-12 and a D in some colleges.

Ok, Lets say she paid 'x' for the laptop. She sold the laptop for a profit of 25%. or, x + 25% of x = 60 or, x + (25/100)* x = 60 or, x + (1/4) * x = 60 or, x (1 + 1/4) = 60 or, x (5/4) = 60 or, x = 60 * 4 / 5 Hence, x = 48 So, Chrissie paid £48 for the laptop! :)

If you do the division there, you get a 56.7%. Unfortunately, I fear that may not be a passing grade.
