I don't believe in violence, but I am honest enough to know that if the situation called for it, I would resort to it as a last resort.

So to answer your question- yes. I love my dad, but like anyone else, if they deserve a punch then they deserve a punch... family relation won't spare you.

However the only thing I could ever think of punching my dad for would be something he wouldn't do in his right mind. So passing the possibility that he goes insane down the road, the odds of me hitting him are slim to none.

He gets socked in the arm occasionally, but only if he's made a smart-a** comment that he knows will do it, and even then it's not hard. His usual response is either "I deserved that" or "Do it again, I like it!"
