Button, the number one difference between someone in high school and an adult is the drama. I graduated from high school almost 50 years ago and it was drama, drama drama and it will continue to be that way when you are my age. Just goes with the territory and all those hormones flying around-lol.

Its a closed social situation, unlike any you'll ever experience again----not the real world---actually it helps you to be tolerant to other minorites and others different from you before your unleased into the world. Ignore the crap, really focus on opening your self up to academics you'd never think of taking cause later you'll end up with the basic foundation you need for the same courses you'd thought you'd never take but, hey now your paying for them cause their required. Life takes turns you'll never expect. Little has to do with the social, unless your the sheltered type.

High School is drama BECAUSE it's High School. When you put a bunch of immature teens who think they know everything and the world revolves around them, there's gonna be trouble.

FYI: I'm in class right now...and my peers are arguing over chips, chalk and empty water bottle. Believe me, I feel your pain. :)

Uh, they ARE growing up.

During those years, people go through a lot. Changes in the brain and gallons of hormones included.

Thus, the result for most is drama.

Of course, they're immature; they're young.

In a few years, most of them will be more mature.
