Definitely Sri Lanka Vs. South Africa in Sri Lanka's first game of the super eights....
South Africa seemed set to win comfortably then Malinga took 4 wickets in 4 balls and probably should have gotten the 5th wicket in his 5th ball (which would have given the match to Sri Lanka if not for the poor umpiring decision) but South Africa came through and won it by 1 wicket

If you are talking about cricket, the greatest finish was the match between England and West Indies in the Super 8 of the world cup 2007.

If you are talking about cricket, the greatest finish was the match between England and the West Indies in the Super Eights, and the final match between Australia and Sri Lanka.

Definitely the match between South and Sri Lanka in the super eight stage. The match was evenly contested despite the low scores and Sri Lanka almost defended their low total. Neverthless for this miss, they made it to the finals and had ample compensation for this.
