the other night my mum woke up we had thought we had a ghost but we wernt sure!any way she woke up and by her door there was a little boy standing by the door looking at her he looked about 4 or 5 it couldnt be my brother hes only one and when she checked he was in bed . what do you think?

Could very much be, we had the same thing here, a good few years ago. The house that we live in has been here for over 30 years, and before that was the runway for RAF Hendon. When there was building work going on around the area, we could always use to see a man in army uniform walking up and down the stairs, different people did see it.

If you think there is one, u will be more aware of noises, movement etc and can imagine things. When you wake as well, sometimes it can take a few seconds for your brain to leave sleep mode and u can still see images from your dreams in the "real world". I've seen lots of people standing in my room before now but it's just the dreams. As for if ghosts exist or not, no one knows, something we to find out when we die I guess.

sounds like she saw a ghost, yep.
or
she may have been dreaming opened her eyes and thought a dressing gown on the back of the door or something looked like a boy.
if it was a ghost - what was he wearing, coloured hair, eyes, etc...??? maybe this info will help you to place him

who nos if ghost are real or not its just one of them things, but once you have had an experiance like your mum did its very hard not to believe for her that is

Suppose she could have been dreaming or just still half asleep and not focusing properly. See if anything else happens and if it does, call the ghost busters!!

it sounds like a ghost.
my friend had one in his house that would scratch the records if it disliked the music!
but he said it never meant him any harm and he just learned to live with it.
