Initially, put a 0. and add a 0 in front of 3
then follow normal division process
after u get 8 (or any other no. for that matter), add a zero to its end to make it 80
and continue

Rule of thumb: Any fraction over a given number of 9's will have its decimal repeat with that many decimal places.
For example, 4/9 = 0.444(repeating)
382/999 = 0.382382(repeating)
3/11 is no different; it's currently disguised as a reduced form, but 3/11 = 27/99, so
3/11 = 0.27272727(repeating)
As a side note, 9/9 = 1 = 0.999(repeating).

3/11=0.27272727272.... rounded off to .273
you put 11 into 3 and get 0
you put 11 into 30 and get 2 with 8 remainder
you put 11 into 80 and get 7 with 3 remainder
the process will continue in this fashion as the above figure has indicated.

just divide it as if it were 30000000 by 11 but remeber all the quotient coming after the 0 comes after the decimal...therefore .272727272727

Knowing that 1/11 is 0.09 repeating you will multiply that by however much higher you go.
i.e.
2/11 = 0.09*2=0.18 repreating
3/11 = 0.09*3=0.27 repreating
