Are you single and dating him or are you married? If you're married, than I think a husbands place is his wife and family. Of course, that doesn't mean he can't have friends, but he shouldn't be spending most of his time with them. If you're dating, then I would simply bring this up before it becomes a major issue. Tell him that you'd love more of his time. Why he does what he does is not so much the issue as what he will do about it. If he can't see the need for change now than he won't automatically give it up when he is married. If he is married, then there is a problem that needs solving.

The fact that there were not a lot of men when he was growing up isn't the reason. It will continue whether or not you make a point of it. You can not change him, he prefers to go out with his mate over you. You can either accept that fact of life or find a new man.
If you stay with him and go out more on your own, he will be the one finding a new partner.

Join them it may be fun. I do all the time. If they don't like it then find a girlfriend to go out with. No sense in your sitting around waiting for him. Or invite the ladies over for a game and poker..I know that one is huge for me and my gal friends.
Of course we are sports nuts. So i guess it sounds like he just wants to interact with a male figure. That could have something to do with it.
Good Luck
Blessings

My suggestion is don't let him know you are bothered, that is probably what he wants! Tell him you need couple time but also you would love to go out with your friends, then get yourself out there and let him know what a good time you have been having!
If this doesn't encourage him to want to spend more time with you, you never know you may meet someone who does!

If it makes you unhappy then I'd move on to a man that wants to spend time with you. There's nothing wrong with spending time with friends, but there's a limit also when you're in a relationship.

First i would talk to him about it. But at the same time you might need to go out more and have a little fun yourself.
