Spend thousands of dollars on various products and/or surgeries that will end up making you poor and stupid looking. Or you can get a grip on your self-esteem and live with it!

I did read that there may be a breakthrough coming in the next few years involving stem cells and a discovery in mice. Be patient and worry about more important things. Your hair is such a small part of you as a person.

Are you eating enough fruits, leafy green vegetables and most importantly, are you drinking enough water? If you are under significant stress, there is a greater potential for hair loss and thinning. An immediate hair loss prevention measure is to speak to your doctor today.

Hair loss prevention strategies if your hair loss is a result of genetics fall into two categories. You can opt for hair transplants or hair growth drugs such as Rogaine.

If you suffer from alopecia, a disease of the scalp, there are drugs available that work well as a hair loss prevention strategy. If you believe you have a scalp issue, get an appointment with a dermatologist so that treatment may begin quickly. Other strategies include using the right products on your hair. There are specially formulated shampoos and conditions that work better on thinning hair. Some even claim to help stimulate new hair growth although there may not be any scientific results to back up those claims.

Most guys that go bald I know started as early as 18 or so. I know a kid that is about 13 and he is already showing signs he'll be bald by 25. Certainly you can try any of the available hair restorers available in any Walmart, target, or drug store

you can go to a hair transplant specialist or possibly a doctor and get prescribed medicine that prevents any more hair loss (propecia, etc). The only drawback is that you MUST take this medicine every day for the rest of your life. If you stop taking it 20 years from now you could lose all the hair that would've been lost if it hadn't been for the meds at an ALARMING rate! Or just get hair transplants but it'll set you back a few grand. Plus if you are continuing to lose hair you'll get unsightly patches!

Dude, if you're seeing signs of thinning hair at age 21, keeping a full head of hair is hopeless. It's a losing battle. You are genetically programmed to go bald and there is really nothing you. Shave your head and get it over with. A shaved head looks nice. Much nicer than balding guys with combovers.

I know this is a hard thing to deal with. You can go completely bald and no one will ever know. Lots of people shave their heads now a days. Do not do the comb over thing that just looks ridiculous.

My brother started balding at that age. He went to a doctor and started taking birth control pills. This stopped the hair loss immediately. If you wear a hat, STOP. It cooks the scalp. A lot of men loss all their hair because of wearing a stupid ball cap.

Baldness is an autosomal recessive trait, wherein it is passed thru your genes. So, i can't say there is some prevention coz its already in your blood. However, you could consult some specialist to improve your self image. There are now latest health trends where you can have more hair.

Because it is genetic, I am not sure you can stop it. However, while you still have hair, consult with a well-known hair treatment and replacement company and wish for the best. They can at least give you intelligent alternatives.
