Personally I think what ever makes you comfortable is fine. Gay guys don't just wear thongs, they wear boxers and briefs so does that make them straight?. No so then you can wear thongs and be straight, they were not invented JUST for gay men, they were meant to be worn for comfort.go for it. If I were you and those are what made me feel comfortable. Also think about speed o's men wear them ALL the time. to go swimming. and there not gay. hope that helps
