I read a sign on the bank "drive thru" that said any transactions made after 3:00pm count as another day. Does that include Overdraft ...
For example If the bank charges $30 a "day" will the total for the 24 hours be $60? or just $30?
I try calling my bank but they give me the run around! If anyone knows please help~
My bank is Texas State Bank~ (but i think I will be changing that in the near future)

When you go overdraft the bank charges a fee of $30 a day for every day you dont pay them back plus whatever they covered you for.
but Im not clear if the $30.00 a day means 24hrs. ...
or $30 a transaction day which would equal to $60 in 24hrs. ...

You just recieve the one overdraft charge of $30 each day. They won't charge you say an o/d charge of $30 at 8:00 am when they open, then again another $30 after 3:00 p.m. What that means is if you were wanting to pay off your negative balance to bring it to a zero balance, you would need to deposit that money before 3:00 or it will be noted as the next business day and recieve an overdraft fee for that day as well. Hope this helps!

I not sure I understand.
My Bank will charge an overdraft of $17.50. Usually they then cover the check.
But, if they were to return the check, I would still be charged the $17.50 and if the Store try to run the check a second time, I would again have another $17.50 charge, I assume.
I have never had my bank return a check. Normally they cover it and I pay $17.50 down the drain.
I have not bounced/overdrawn now in 5 years.
