I have found that I look good in colors I like. I have never seen anything that doesn't go with my coloring....but I don't try on colors that I don't like. Examples that I like: most shades of green (not lime), pinks, reds, purples, orange, blues, etc...it just depends on the shade, I think.

Blues mostly...really makes my eyes "pop" also Warm tones of Red,Browns, yellow Greens and White..I'm a Blonde with a warm/medium skin tone.
