I’m not an “angry black man” who hates white people and blame everything on “The Man” and our government for crime and drugs etc. However I would love if All people of the Majority could walk in the shoes of a Minority for one day. I was raised in a predominately black middle to upperclass suburb, and after graduating from University, my best friend and his wife from college (both white) came to my city and went to TGI Fridays for dinner before visiting me. Upon walking in FRIDAYs they notice that they were the only non people of color and they felt a little awkward the entire time. Afterwards when they came to my house, they told me about their experience. And they also explain how they couldn’t help ponder how it must have felt for me while we were at the University for 4 years. Walking into dozens of classes of 400 people and being just 1 of 15 minorities. Or 1 of 40 minorities in a dorm building of 800. Once again, I’m not saying that everyone is “out to get me” or anything of the like. However I have witness some really un cool actions.

Yes I would. I am white- I would be Black for a day. I was just asking a friend of mine about his black culture and how I want to experience how soulful everything is. I know I can experience it white or black, but if I were to switch for the day I would definitely do it that way! NOT TO MENTION! I have always wanted to have that caramel skin tone. I think light skinned black girls are SO beautiful!! I am jealous! I would try on so many different outfits, make up, hair. I would try the food, just everything about their culture I would try to experience in that day. Although I know that's almost impossible!

im white and live in a black neighborhood so u could say already act black, but i can act the way i do and go to a nice suburb or a nice mall without somone watching me or i can drive with three people in a car and not get pulled over for no reason so yes i would like to be black for a day and go to a ritzy placeand see how i would be treated

I would not like to be black. I have seen how they have to deal with discrimination on a daily basis in almost every little thing. It is nauseating, I do not think white people truly realize the extent of it.

Most people only see racism in huge headline making terms, but I bet it is the little daily things that upset blacks, way more than that.

Sure, i'd be a white chick. But she'd have to be a hot white chick - a blonde haired, blue eyed Swedish looking chick, 5'10", size 4 with implants.

I'd go to L.A. and mingle with all the rich white people and snag me a rich dude and have him pamper and buy me expensive clothing and jewelry.

Then when I switch back to Black, i'll be the #1 Stunna in the Hood! LOL.

I'd love to be black for a day. I'd go to the seediest, most run-down, dangerous neighborhood in the city and see what REALLY goes on, and if it's as bad as people say it is.

yes i would be black for one day. i would see how racist and hard it can be for some black people to be treated by white people. i am not racist at all and think it would be awesome to be black for a day :]
