I used to want to be a bird. They seemed so free and happy. Now I'm just okay with being human.

No.
I as well as you and the overwhelming most of us 'have been' other creatures before, except the veil has been drawn so that we are not made aware of this, so that we can get on with life.
Souls undergo many forms of life over the untold tens of thousands of years in the physical universe and upon other planetary systems -- from the mineral state to the plant and animal state, and on to the human and eventually but assuredly the true god-absorption state; and even beyond this into the Source and Existence Itself.
What wishes and dreams and abilities and tendencies and talents we have are but a collage and agreement of these past embodiments.
It takes lots to make a human being...

No I think that human is the best creature in the world ,but sometimes I wish to be an angle, because they never do any thing wrong or harmful to anyone.

Why should I ever have such a wish, such a desire or a dream, when being human being alone enables me to experience all that a goodly human being can be in his or her goodly life? Or may be you have not seen me running amok when I feel that I am being cornered and have to come to terms with my responsibilities; and don’t I fly away like a crow, frightened by the sight of a catapult at its full stretch, as I see that I have to commit myself. Then I spend hours and even day in anticipation, waiting for all things small and trivial in value that no sensible person would waste his or her time thus, so foolishly. The only example for this instance that I can find is that of a stork standing in a pool of shallow waters gazing into its emptiness for hours and even day in the end, and hence running a serious risk of dying of excessive weight loss, and thinning of brains. But when a chance arises, I cannot help but gorge into things bountifully presented to be like a scavenger. I am always ready to pounce at opportunities like a savage panther, but I fight, and growl in a way that even a hound would be envious about. I can toil for years into some low paid heavy-duty work situation like a donkey. I can be lazy like a tortoise but fleeting like a hare. Then I mark my territories, and guard them religiously. I always like to be at the top, the chief of my tribe. I can crawl, slither and burrow deep like a mole. I can also be mysterious like Lock Ness Monster, if you like. But right now, I am feeling a bit hot and dry, I think need some comport and respite, time to wriggle my way into my bed, I then be an earthworm now. Bye!

No. I admire all sorts of "creatures" but I think that would be awfully limiting. As a human, depending on my mood & the situation, I can truly feel like almost anything. Soar like an eagle, fight like a tiger, flit like a butterfly, love unconditionally like a cat, you name it. I can feel tall, old & strong as a redwood tree. I can honestly say I've never wished to be other than me--(even a dragon).

yeh, if I was a bird then I could fly but then I might get shot at, or a cat could get me.
If I was a fox then I could live in the woods and it's more fun being low down in the undergrowth, the world is bigger if you're smaller. If I was a tree then I would have no worries or stresses, though again I suppose i could be chopped down....I just like nature....peaceful you know

I would like to be one of the largest avians that can fly... like a Harpy Eagle or a Teraton or some other large bird of prey. Why? Because I prefer to be at the top of the food chain and I think it would be a really fascinating experience to be able to fly by my own physiology and no other assistance.

On many occasions i've wished i was my cat. He curls up and looks so comfy... But then he wants to go out or eat and i realize that he is totally dependant on me and it would suck to be like an infant for my whole life.
I've also wished to be a bird, but only so i could fly.

Yeah, I did wish that. But I am now content and so happy with being a human. Humans have souls. Animals don't. And I look like my Creator too.

I have wished to be a bird before, for obvious reasons, but if I truly wish to fly, I can do so in my dreams (or on an airplane). So I no longer wish to be anything other than Me.
