LOL. So true. Had alot of those.
But the best is when I call someones Cell Phone, and i ask where they are, i would get a response, where do you think i am? You called me didn't you? LOL. Ya i did, but being on a cell phone you could be anywhere in the country. LOL And it has happened.

I've done a few stupid things like that...
My friend had lost her cell phone so I figured she had gotten a new number with the phone. I don't have a cell phone, so I really don't know the whole deal. I called her to check up (I had forgotten about her losing the cell until she said so), and at the end of the conversation I asked, "So what's your new number?" There was a long pause, and it took me a few seconds to realize what I had done. lol I hate my dittsy mode.
Usually when people call around dinner to advertise, we turn it around and mess with them:elders, take out places and dry cleaners.

Do they know you have a house phone? They're probably so used to everybody having a cell phone that they don't even think about it.

My pet peeve with regards to phone calls is when you get a call and they ask for , let's say, Bob, and I say, sorry there's no Bob here, you must have the wrong number, and they say , " Are you sure ? " One time in that same scenario, I answered, yeah, I was just kidding. Actually he was just here, but he said if you called for me to tell you he hates you and never wants to lay eyes on you again, OK ! CRASH, down goes my phone. ( By the way, why do you call yourself BROKEN?
That makes me sad for you)

Yeah it's really annoying! I think its a side effect from using the cell phone so much! LOL

We just got this phone number about 6 months ago. We are constantly getting phone calls for Cynthia and Scot Gant. I am so sick of bill collectors calling for them.

That doesn't happen nearly as much now with the cell phones. I do call my kid and say "where are you?" because he could be anywhere.

It also drives me crazy when you answer the phone and the person says "who is this" well who did you call!!!
