a lot of people may not of heard of amitabh bachan, but believe me he is an absolute legend. he is the biggest thing to come out of bollywood ever.
bollywood is a much bigger movie industry than hollywood and has a much bigger fan base world wide. 10% of the world's population might know al pacino or marlon brando, but at least 40% will know and heard of amitabh bachan.
such films like sholay will never be forgotten, so original and unsurpassed. ran in indian cinemas for a record 14years in a row. it makes ET and titanic look like a steven seagal film i.e awful.
if you've heard of him then please answer the question and if you do which film do you think was his best???

bollywood is great ,if you like a bunch of stupid singing and dancing, in a movie that shouldn't have singing or dancing.
amitabh bachan compaired to Brando or Pacino,HA i say.
Brando and Pacino are legends in America so 25%or less have ever heard of amitabh bachan But anyone who knows anything about movies knows the names Brando or Pacino very well . I guess what I am saying is most Americans have no idea what is going on in bollywood and really don't care.
Or am I just stickin up for Brando.

Bollywood is about quantity not QUALITY- all their releases are purely commercial ventures- all knock offs of well-established Western films with some crap singing and lame dancing thrown in.
There hasn't been a decent Indian film since the Apu Trilogy.
Bollywood actors are dreadful- they're acting is more wooden than a puppets' and they all mime.
The true talents are the singers- who never get seen.
Best actor- ? too many fine ones to choose. Perhaps Sir Ian Holmes?

Well as most of the world have never heard of him this can only be your opinion, i have only seen a couple of Boolywood films, and won't be watchig another, each to their own, but it seemed very out dated to me, but that is my opinion, and i expect you may feel the same about some of the films i like

i'm glad you like bollywood, but i dont beleive that about it being more popular than hollywood...
You dont see a bollywood movie breaking US or UK box office recordsl....
just because its popular in india doesn't mean it it over here...
Infact i find bollywood films awful, usually the same plot (man wants to marry women, but for some reason man cannot) and all they end up doing is having a song and dance about how much they yearn for the other.

considering in bollywood hes the best ,
even i have heard of him , but what ever hes is great
hes havin good background of education ,havin good vacab,
hes the one at profession.
well built in all ways hes the best at this age if hes dancing he looks the best in front of other younger stars .............he has that onething so special that looks unique .........
and the way he lead the role in KBC was awesome , hes the only one fit for that HOT SEAT!
