We all have power, this is not granted by god-beings and deities, rather if we work together we have ultimate power to do anything. We really would be able to do nothing if we waited for god to assist.

I always love to read your questions- they bring me much joy! We can indeed do much without help, though we can do more with. I'm a practicing White Witch and use only natural energies, and my own metaphysical energy to bring about the change I intend. It is almost possible to do anything if you can channel enough of your energies.
All things are not connected in the way you think- they are in symbiance, and that is how they are connected. But we are individuals, only connected to life. Life isn't another being, but a force, and a force that we all have within us and can use! Therefore, we are relying solely on ourselves for this type of witchcraft. We can also, indeed, use our powers for ill intent without God's consent. Our Free Will is what denotes whether we choose to rely on everything else, or only do what we feel we want to. We have the power to resist when we choose.
In love and light, Tasha x

Wow, Hermes that is a good question. I believe in an ultimate divine intelligence, but as for the tools, candles, God or Goddess personifications, elemental personifications, etc I think that they are tools that help us to use and focus power we already have, it gives us something to focus our will and intentions, but the power is there if we use these things or not, and one day we will have progressed to a place where we can reliably raise energy and send it to a goal without asking a personification for help. This is not to say that such personifications don't exist, or can't help, they exist because we invest energy in them, and can help because they are our thought forms given direction. As for when God "permits" things that others perceive as "evil", I can't begin to say what God could be thinking, there may be a situation where the recipient of such a thing needed a "lesson" and God allowed it so as to do that, or it could be the energy of the universe seeking to be balanced, as much as it might pain us in our human form, "destruction" is part of "creation", and far be it from me to understand the mind and heart of a God. If one considers the three fold law, and the idea that what goes around comes around, it's not as cut and dried as that, it might seem as though God allows negative energy to go out, but if you suffer a backlash or a back fire, has it really been successful? Most people send out energy that they may not even really have intended to, without even thinking about it, the Godforms etc, allow us to give that energy direction, and apply it with thought and will instead of just putting out thoughts willynilly....

God made us , therefore, without His Holy Spirit in our hearts, we are nothing but lost souls looking for something to fill that void that we sense is there within us. The Bible says: " Some are always seeking, but are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth ". The truth spoken of there is the fact that without Him, we seem to have no meaningful purpose in life. Read the book by Rick Warren, called " The Purpose Driven Life ", and you will discover why we are here.

diffiucult question...I think if you mean power to create then we have as much power as we allow ourselves...if we are reckless (or evil) we could go over the line & create havoc or evil....
then that creates bad karma which will come back to us & that wil teach us to use our power wisely.
Spiritual beings, Godly ones, as far as I know, will not help us if it creates anything but love.
Dark spirits will tempt & use us to do bad, including using power for evil as we see everyday & everywhere (politicians creating wars)..on a personal scale,I have seen the dark forces manipulate people to do harm & do evil.
I know misused power makes us afraid in the future to use our power again & we become wary of it (if we're good people, evil people don't care, they carry on making the same mistakes that will have dire consequences).
for example, I donot mind admitting I tried to use my power of intention to create a more fair society, eg. reducing mortgage rates etc...but I reminded myself to say, under the Grace of God & Thy Will Be Done.
I have used my power of intention b4 & it has worked but it wasn't good or bad but creative & it does work. But it;s very important to say Thy Will Be Done becos we're not all wise, & only God kows what's best for us.
we have unlimited power only if we allow it & that takes love, wisdom or evil. The consequences are up to us so I think many of us are afraid to use as Nelson Mandela put it in his famous quote. I think then the more confident & spiritually evolved we become, the more we know how to use it wisely & although we don't have more power than anyone else, we know how to harness it for God & feel more powerful in a good way.
If you are talking about personal power, that is totally different, we all have the same power, no more no less, but when our third chakra (the solar plexus) is working properly, then we claim our power & are strong.

The separation of GOOD and EVIL only exists where God doesn't live. All thoughts, actions and reactions are the will of God. The act of Judgement, and the belief of righteousness, define exactly those spiritless souls who have lost faith in Gods Will.

We can do it all on our own. It's called nature taking its course. That's what nature does. Only the strong survive! Trample the weak, Hurdle the dead. There is no God only nature. Once we figure that out we'll all be much better off.

You make your own luck, you have your own power, you got your own spirit, and thats it.
On the face of it, if your down and out and the bailiffs are knocking at your door, god don't give a crap, I haven't seen him handing out cheques lately for people who can't afford to eat.

We can do anything that that our minds can conceive and the law of physics and biology are applied. Nothing more nothing less.
For instance you have zero power over me however much you want to have it.
