Which hand do you use to pour boiling water out of the kettle. I only ask because I'm right handed and wear my wristwatch on my left hand and I'm worried the steam from the kettle will damage the watch strap or face. I can't seem to hold the kettle in my right hand. Is that normal?

Why would you have your left hand be near steam while pouring with your right?
If you can pour with your left then do so, but also remove your watch if you feel that it will damage it.
