There is always the possibility though the chance is lower than if you had sex fourteen days after you first get your period. If you don't get your period when it is due, then test. There are even some pregnancy tests where you can test up to four days before it is due. I am not sure how accurate the birth control pill is when you take them the way you described, only when you have sex. I think that they must be taken daily. Another option is to use the Plan B, this is the "Morning After" pill, which is sold over the counter. But it can be expensive. You can go to planned parenthood and probably get this cheaper. If you are not having frequent sex with your boyfriend, I would go with the Depo Provera shot. You only have to get one once every three months and do not have to worry about taking pills. However, with the shot and I think with the birth control pills, these can affect your period. Once I got on the shot, I stopped having periods-or had very light flows.

Any time you have sex, you can get pregnant. Taking a birth control pill one time will NOT keep you from getting pregnant. It takes a good 2-3 months on the pill to keep your body from ovulating (that's how the pill works...no egg is released so nothing can get fertilized).
That being said, there is only a small chance of getting pregnant if you have sex while you have your period. If your cycles are 28 days, you would most likely conceive from having sex on days 10-16.

It depends on your cycle. If you have 28 days between your cycle, then the chances of your getting pregnant on day 7 is very very low. I know because I have 27 days between my cycle and I am 'safe' even up to the 8th day, so it is definitely possible that you are not pregnant after unprotected sex on day 7 of your 28 days-cycle.
Again the emergency birth control pill you took 2 hours before sex will do little or no thing to stop pregnancy. You are suppose to take it within the first 3 hours AFTER unprotected sex. Well again it depends on the type of emergency birth control pill you took. Some work within the first 3 hours after sex (just like I mentioned earlier) while some work within 72 hours after sex. So I suggest you read the instructions on the pill first before taking it.
In all I can vouch you are not pregnant!

Yes, you could be pregnant. Birth control pills only work if you take them at the same time EVERY DAY. You have to be consistent with the pills in order for them to work. Normally, ovulation occurs 14 days before you start your next period, so how long is your cycle usually? If you have a 28 days cycle you have on ok chance of not being pregnant, however, everytime you have unprotected sex you have a chance of getting pregnant. Get on a schedule with your birth control pills if you don't want to get pregnant.

Yes you can even a drop is enough. The best way to protect yourself in this circumstance would have been to get a morning after pill but some people dont like the idea of them as they end the life of something that could be seen as a baby.
Birth control pills have to be taken regularly to be effective and even then it is advised that you use another form of protection like a condom to be absolutely sure. The best way to know if you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test.
My biology teacher once said that the body is a baby making machine and it will do anything to try to produce a baby.
Also do not forget that having sex without a condom can also leave you open to catching diseases as well as pregnancy.

Whoever led you to think that birth control pills work like that? As other answers have said, day 7 of your cycle is probably not the most fertile time but everybody's cycle is different and it's certainly not impossible that you could get pregnant from having sex as you describe.
The pill you took would do absolutely nothing to prevent conception.
I think you should stop having sex until you are a lot better informed about it and a lot more responsible.

Ok...first off...take your pill the same time everyday...for the 28 days it was prescribed...you'll notice how wonderfully these little things do things like regulate your period, and certain ones can even clear acne...Taking your pill on days you have sex is about as pointless as brushing your teeth only on the day of a dentist appointment. If you don't do it everyday, then it completely defeats the purpose. If you're afraid you might be pregnant, the only choice you have is to wait it out until your next period is due. Either DO NOT have sex or use another form of birth control (pulling out is not effective because that little drop that he spits out in the beginning contains swimmers that can get you pregnant.) Condoms are your best bet right now. Don't bother finishing this pack of pills as you've already messed this pack up by only taking it once.
When your period is due, watch closely..if you are late...get tested at your doctors office (not a home test), if its weird, get tested.
By the sounds of it, you're a young girl...still in highschool perhaps....STOP having sex!!! You are ruining your life and will either end up a teenage mother living off welfare or carrying some sort of virus passing it on to the next 30 guys you sleep with...could even end up raped by a gross old drunk because he took your flirting a little too far...or worse...dead.....go to church and talk to you pastor about getting some counseling.

Yes, it is possible. A woman can ovulate at any point in her cycle. And all it takes is one little sperm and you could be pregnant.
If you have access to birth control, you should be taking them everyday. Taking them on the day you have sex will not prevent anything at all! (Not to mention, birth control pills don't prevent STD's either.)
When women are put on Birth Control they are told to use a back up method for a month, because it takes a month for the pill to get into your system and work effectively.
If you have had unprotected sex, and one pill does NOT count, then yes, you could be pregnant.
Best wishes!

Birth control pills don't work if you only take them on the days you have sex. There is a chance you are pregnant.

you cant use birth control as a form of the mornin after pill. You get a certain dose and you take 2 pills. 12 hours apart . BUT yes you can get pregnant from that one time. and unless you take birth control on a regular basis im pretty sure it wont work to prevent pregnancy. use a condom for crying out loud or if your that lazy get an IUD.
