killing someone with kindness is manipulative and makes you a liar as well. i would prefer someone was just directly cruel so i can put the issue to rest then and there.

Being directly cruel or killing. Because when you´re killing someone with kindness, you could say that at least it was not your intention to do so. Your only mistake was not knowing when to stop trying to help....but thats all. No intentional cruelty exists in that at all.

I think killing someone with kindness is more mean. People do mean or rude things just to get a negative reaction from you to reinforce their behavior. If you show kindness to someone like that, they will just get so frustrated. I LOVE doing that to people. LOL It shows that I'M the stronger person by not reacting to their behavior in anything but kindness.
Being directly cruel won't get to people as easily as kindness. The effects won't last as long either.

As you pointed out in your question. An extreme of either is not good. Everything in our universe, that survives, depends on balance.
