Google uses a reference count when ranking web pages for internet searches. Yahoo and many other search engines use a simpler web crawler / key word count approach. Google's technique proved to be much more acurate and quickly became the prefered search engine for the web.

I have tried to go to Yahoo and could not get information I wanted. I went to Google and asked about the same information and got what I wanted. Google will give you more information than Yahoo.

Yahoo's into various products and services online.
Google though lately has come up with new services the core still is their Powerfull Search Engine.
The results if you see actually vary and google gives you much better and Exact results compared to Yahoo.
Thats why maybe google's better

People use search engine in google more, but yahoo is better in NEWS feature. Can't say which is better.

google has a cleaner user interface which is visually more appealing than yahoo's clutterd one and results tend to be more usful and to the point while it might also suggest images/videos or news about your topic

because google has a simple search page that isn't crowded with a bunch of stupid crap. the letters are colorful, too. and if you had a slow computer it would load up faster.
