If as you said it was murder and not self defence or an accident then I would have to give them up to the police but I'm probably biased as my husband was the victim of a vicious and unprovoked attack where they beat him and when he was defenceless tried to cut his heart out. I would hope that someone who knew about something like that would report it ASAP. The guys that did it were caught thankfully because he took note of the number of the car and managed to call himself, a very strong man at one time but no more.Ahh well

No but I would not be able to be the one to grass them up. I would tell someone else that I knew would tell and then support them while they were in prison. No matter how much I loved someone Murder is wrong. At least I would be able to visit in prison, whoever loved the dead person can't even do that :(

I am going to assume, for the sake of argument, that we are talking about cold blooded murder as opposed to a justifiable homicide. With that in mind, I would not lie to keep them out of prison. However, if they were facing the death penalty, I would lie.

I suppose it would all depend on the circumstances, if that person was evil, maybe, but just in cold blood, because the wanted to or felt they needed to, no way. I could never assist somebody who was capable of cold blooded murder!

Absolutely not. There is family loyalty, and there is MISGUIDED family loyalty. My grandparents were murdered, and one of my friends was murdered. Somebody I know murdered somebody. If someone commits murder, even if they are a loved one, they deserve to suffer the consequences of that action: prison.

No, somethings are always wrong and some are always right.
Murder is wrong and needs to be punished.
i'm not saying it would be easy and I would take no pleasure in it, but lying to keep a murderer out of prison is borderline insane. you might be next on the list!!!

No. For as much as I wouldn't want to see them go to prison, they murdered someone and have to pay the price like everyone else.
