They're not pro-terrorist, for the most part. They just share a common enemy with terrorists - Republicans.
By their actions and words, one would conclude that Democrats believe that Republicans are a malignant evil entity, but terrorists are simply adversaries they can negotiate with and resolve the differences.
This is based on how much effort and time they've put into fighting each one and the rhetoric they use.

The Remocrants (war mongering "Republicans"/"Democrats") have created one officially recognized Islamic state in the heart of Europe, which used different means of terror in order to exist, and another unofficial terrorist Islamic state in the heart of Europe. So it makes sense their presidential candidate in 2000 was named Ali.
