My goodness, no! When tickled you shout and try to escape and you are annoyed. The temper let your health down. Listennning to a comedian, you laugh from the bottom of your heart and you really enjoy it and your full system get purified....

"Laughter is the best medicine"...isn't that how the saying goes? I agree. A good dose of laughter is sometimes all we need to lift our spirits a bit.
The difference in being tickled and being "tickled" is easy: I don't think there is a difference. Our laughter in both these situations are a reaction to outside stimuli. We laugh, endorphins get released, we feel good.
Great question, BTW, never gave this much thought.

I believe tickling can be fun, but, you have to know the limit because there is a time when tickling can not be fun.
I remember when my father used to tickle the my little brothers and sisters he was careful and seemed to know when tickling was no longer fun even before the children knew because they always begged him to continue. I think tickling can be very bad when it's continued in spite of protests.
No, it's not the same as laughter caused by cognitive impressions brought on by visual stimulation.
Thanks,

Not to me, I hate being tickled and it dosen't make me laugh at all. Listening to a comedian is proper laughter.

I can tell you from personal experience that definitely yes it is the same effect. Yes, the endorphins that are released in both cases can give you a "natural high" produced by your own body. I think that is why I don't mind being tickle tortured by my wife. Both are beneficial, but you need someone who is tactile to appreciate being tickled.
