Baloney. I am retired. I have incomes from several sources, including Social Security, thanks to your tax dollars. I am living fat and happy. When I was working, my base salary never exceeded $50,000 per year. It can be done.

53% of Bush's Tax Cuts on Investments went to the wealthiest 10%. If you are not in this group or the next 10% slice that includes doctors and lawyers you are in the remaining 80% that is in reality Working Class. The gilded age has returned, most of the good jobs went overseas with Bush/Clinton Corporate Managed Trade (Free Trade.)

Nope there is still very much a middle class. Probably always will be. You can't quell will, which many people have. Remember, the middle class keeps the country going. Without it, the country would probably fall apart. These are educated people like teachers and skilled blue collar workers. Without them, there'd be nada.. Middle class will never go away in America. People will vote out any presidents who try to change that. Thank God we have the democratic process.

And why do people still vote for Republicans?
Its not in their interests.
The person just above is an example of why the middle class is vanishing. We will just have the top out of sight rich and serfs, if they get their way. Its about greed, isn't it?
If I could, I might to send this person to 1790s France. Wonder how long he would last?

yes, we are becoming like a third world country, we will have the very wealthy, and the very poor, the middle class is a endangered specie
