Yes for sure, it is called a very vivid imagination
I look at normal pictures and see 3 dimensional without trying which is not normal or real.
No I think you can relax for not all that you can touch/feel/see or smell is necessary real.
I think you could also be suffering from a very unique syndrome, which I am still not sure of. You are not maybe a Buddhist or using something some sort of drug?
If you feel good about is then it is not bad, but on the other hand you seem to be worried, so, it could be bad. If this persist, I suggest you see a or maybe cut out on the bears.
No really don't worry but like I said, don't try and put all you see to the test to see if it is real or not, you could come into trouble.

Yes the answer is to consider why anyone would bother to go to the trouble of building a film set with realistic looking buidlings, populating it with people who interact with you and having to do this wherever you choose to visit and whenever you choose to visit.
This concept was presented to me in a lecture on post-modernism and post-structuralism. The idea is that you can be in the pub for three or four hours, but as soon as you leave and you are out of sight and earshot it is demolished. But the next time you come back to the pub it has been rebuilt exactly as it was before down to the last minute detail. How do i know it actually carried on existing after you left and was not simply rebuilt when you decided to come back to it?
The answer is, that of course it carried on existing, the world is real, pubs thank god, are real - there is no all-powerful 'They' or 'It' out there who has either the time or the inclination to mess about with the world, so just get on with living in it.

It depends what world you're on. The real world, the ideal world, or sometimes the virtual world. I feel the same way. sometimes I wonder if everything I see is real, or just by-product of my ever-active mind.
No matter, don't get too much absolved into this kind of thinking. Concentrate on your real world (meaning, which you can experience, think about, and perceived about by your senses) and never let go of your mind to something that is obscure.
Others take others for granted, dig through their minds especially those who are gullible and inferior to the kind of knowledge the others may possess. I have been there for quite sometime, there was a point and time when I couldn't think of what others may have for me for bad intention. I became so couped up with my belief/assumptions/imaginations. Be careful, my word of advice.

Have you been reading any material on the Hindu theory of Maya or non-dualism?
What we perceive to be real is actually the unreal. The reality is the Brahman within ourselves- that is the one and only and ultimate reality...the be-all and the end-all in common parlance.
Happiness-sorrow, Evil vs Good, Black vs white, all seeming opposites are basically sides to the same coin. Hard to believe, hard to accept. They all come from the same source.
Our goal in life is not to be sunk and dragged into the quagmire of actions and reactions arising from the apparent dualism we see all around us and die in the milieu of an overwhelmed, drowned state.
Our ultimate purpose in life is to arrive at the reality or the "Brahman", The Truth, The Source, Godliness, whatever you choose to call it that is within you, me and and every atom and being around us.
Watch it!
If you go the length of these postulations and explore this state of "non-being", "nothingness" without guidance from a realized soul or Guru or without having an acutely strong, rational, enquiring mind and inner strength which helps you through this most critical and sublime exercise which can take years (maybe not at all), you can land in the looney bin.

Sounds very much like disassociation. Your mind is separating itself from the reality around you and it does feel like you're watching a movie. This can be a transitory thing or it could become a regular part of your life. It might be a good idea to talk to a professional and find out if there is a treatment for it.

yes and no.
The 'Matrix?' Seriously though.....
i think life is all about perception and it is good that you are questioning what you 'think you feel.' further study into spiritualism/psychology and philosophy can only help.
my current perception is that everything is more real than it ever has been before...just looking at water/the sky/birds/flowers......virtually anything enhances my feelings of contentment and peace
even though i am not at peace in my personal/spiritual or work life at the moment.....infact i am in the process of many changes but my perception has been like this for some time and it does not appear to be changing with my mood.
For me that is a good thing - but always something to bear in mind.
If you are feeling down or taking substances then this affects your perception of things (and your ability to rationalise it)
I would suggest trying a spell of de-tox where you don't drink/smoke/snort or whatever for a while and see how you feel then.
Good luck with it all and never forget.......there are 2 things that are always real and you can believe in:
YOU and GOD -
(some might say this is open to perception/discussion but for me they are the only two definates in this life!

The only thing that is really real is inside of you. You are a lot bigger than your brain can understand. You are infinite. You are Life Itself. The physical world is an illusion, for you to use to experience the wonders of Yourself.
Believe in YOU. You are real! I am not talking about your body. Your body is only a vehicle.
Ask yourself this question: Who am I?
This question will take an eternity to answer, because you are Everything.

It sounds as though you are coming out of puberty and realising that the glossy happy world of your childhood is actually the fabrication, and the real world seems abnormal beacuse you have spent the last 17 years looking at the world through disney-tinted glasses. This will pass and you will become an adult soon enough.

I feel what you're saying. I always feel like I'm dreaming and that someone will wake me any minute. I feel like what I'm expiriencing in life is not real. Like I could wake up and tell everyone what is going on in america. In a way I kinda wish this life was a dream because if its really real, then what a horrible life I must have.
