The fear of commitment. People will deliberately sabotage a relationship to avoid letting others get close to them. It's sad.

I only get deep if I know it's worth it. And so far I have been right. Not to say that the surface relationships aren't good too. We need both. How dramatic life would be with only deep relationships.

people pull away because of trust issues.they can't trust themselves so they take it out on somebody else.this goes for friendship, relationships between adults.and they are afraid of getting hurt.but what life would be if you don't take a chance on someone.you cannot live life without some sort of drama to it.it would be too boring.

Ooooh...good question! No, I stay, unless they are truly abusive, then I have to go, but when I make friends I am in it for the long haul. Right to the nitty-gritty with me and let's get over the issues, shall we? We need to talk, girlfriend.....this is a good topic!

maybe it is because they are afraid of being hurt because the deeper you get the stronger the pain will be if something goes wrong.

or just maybe they are not ready for something more steady and they feel like they owe it to their selves to have some more fun and they do not want to get more involved cause they do not want to hurt the other person.

No, I push in, farther. Far as I can go. Too avoid the inevitable pain...

no I stick around but it's not like it is always intentional when a person drives another person away
