I use it on a few occasions. when i know that my search phrase must find a basic site and i just want quick information.

try a lucky search for president Carter

I also use it when I have searched for the keywords before and know its the first on my list

There are a few searches, like if I know the name of a company but not their exact domain name, and sometimes if I'm just in a rush.

for example if is great if you want to just type in "windows" it goes right to Microsoft.com etc

or if you type in "ps3" it goes right to http://www.us.playstation.com/
